Description
Bravecto [Fluralaner] is a soft chewable tablet given to your dog every 3 months (12 weeks) to terminate adult fleas, help treat and prevent flea infestations and help treat and control tick infestations. Unlike spot-on applications, administering the chew is easier, more convenient and cleaner. Each chew is flavored, so your dog will look forward to taking his medication for a change. Suitable for dogs from 8 weeks of age. Compared to Frontline, Nexgard and Veko (Quicfip).
Possible Side Effects: Incidences of vomiting decreased appetite, diarrhea, lethargy, polydipsia and flatulence have been reported.
Precautions: Use with caution in dogs with a history of seizures or allergic to fluralaner. Bravecto has not been shown to be effective for 12 weeks duration in puppies less than 6 months of age.
Active Ingredient: 250 mg Fluralaner. Fluralaner works on the nervous system of fleas and ticks, causing hyperexcitation and death.
Recommended Dosage: Bravecto should be administered orally with food as a single dose every 12 weeks to provide a minimum dose of 25 mg per kg body weight. Dogs greater than 56kg should be administered the appropriate combination of chews.
Storage: Do not store above 25’C. Store in original package in order to protect from moisture. Open the pouch only immediately prior to use.
